Baby in a NICU

Are you the parent of a premature infant? Do you need more support or information?

We are offering a series of three one-hour workshops for parents and their infants. In these workshops you will find support, practical suggestions and a fuller understanding of the impact that the premie has had upon you and your family.

One in 13 babies in the UK are born prematurely. For some of these infants their first weeks are spent in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This can be a challenging time for the parents, as well as for the infant. Our workshops can help you to adjust to living with your newborn after the NICU.

Dr Acquarone has worked for over thirty years in the NHS, and now works privately with families. She has spoken about her work all over the world, in hospitals, conferences and professional institutions. She is a registered member of the British Psychological Society (Neuropsychology), the British Psychoanalytic Council, the Association of Child Psychotherapists and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy.

Venue: 27 Frognal, London NW3 6AR

Cost: £30 for the course of three 1-hour sessions
