Crying, Sleeping, Eating Too Much or Not enough? Advice for Parents

Are you a parent or family member with a child under five years of age who is experiencing any of the following?

  • Worrying that your baby is not eating well or growing as expected.
  • Has a baby or child experiencing sleeping problems,
    - either sleeping too much or very little
    .
  • Concerned that your baby has difficulties around separation or has long and
    frequent temper tantrums
    .
  • Feels their baby is too fussy, continually cries or is difficult to comfort.
  • Finds their baby unusually quiet or uninterested in them.
  • Is concerned about how active their child is.
  • Feels burdened by the demands of parenthood
  • Has a baby with developmental problems that place special emotional burdens on the parents.

Are you looking for advice or guidance on how to deal with these problems?

If so,  then the Parent Infant Clinic is here to help you. We are here to work through the concerns that parents have about their infant. We believe, and our research verifies, that by understanding why these children behave as they do, we can modify how they feel, how their brain is becoming wired, how they will develop and therefore, their future behaviour.

What are the Goals?
"Our clinic aims to help parents understand"

  • To help parents understand the stress and difficulties they experience in raising
their crying baby infant or toddler.
  • To develop with them various and alternative ways of managing the problem.
  • To offer consultation to professionals regarding methods for working
with particular parents and young children.
  • To promote knowledge and awareness of the early signs of autism if this is appropriate.
