In 1990 we were the first institution to offer integrated educational and training programmes for professionals working with under-5s.
The School of Infant Mental Health offers Specialized Psychotherapeutic Skills in infant-parent psychotherapy. We specialize in detecting early behavioral signs of autism and early intervention with pre autistic babies and their families.

We offer three diplomas:
- Diploma in Infant Mental Health
- Clinical Diploma in Parent-Infant Psychotherapy
- Diploma in Early Intensive Family Programme / Treatment
And two courses:
- Foundation Course
- Courses in Behavioral Signs of Autism in Infants
We can also offer any of the modules as an independent course.
Courses information:
Foundation Course (Duration: 16 hours)
Provides a sound introduction to infant mental health and parent-infant psychotherapy. This overview of theories on the development of emotions in children and parents can be taken on its own or as a basis for entry into the diploma courses.
Course in Behavioral Signs of Autism in Infants (Duration: 3 – 4 days)
Programme:
- Development of Observational skills: Infant observation
- Development of mental processes in infancy
- Infant parent communication
- Early distress signs
- Prevention and early intervention
- The link to Autistic Spectrum disorder
- The PREAUT research (France)
