What services are offered?
Our Programmes
...for infants...we work to meet your infants needs.
Parents and their baby are assessed both individually and as part of the family. We offer both short term and longer term therapeutic treatments, as well as specialised intensive treatments. The length of treatment necessary is dependent upon the infant's age, severity of the parent's concerns and ability of their baby to assimilate change.
...for children...we provide a Child Focus Consultancy
Child Focus Consultancy is a branch of the Parent Infant Clinic specialising in offering assessment, treatment and consultation when there are concerns about children and adolescents. We work closely with parents, concerned professionals and the children and young people themselves to address worrying behaviours, identify underlying causes and
treat emotional disturbances. Issues we have successfully worked with include: low self esteem, eating distress, bullying, bereavement, aggressive behaviours, anxiety, family breakdown and depression.
...for parents...we offer early support.
Parents who have worries about their infant or child can contact us for an informal discussion in order to assist them in deciding whether or not an assessment could be beneficial. Support can be offered to parents around: parenting strategies, identifying and responding to their child's emotional state, and managing their own emotions.
...for professionals...we offer training.
Professionals who work with infants or children can arrange for consultations about specific issues or infants, or on going supervision from our team of experienced therapists.
